The town of Guidonia Montecelio is located 20 kilometers from Rome. There were joint maneuvers of the Italian Air Force. There were 4 in the air sides, among them - two ultralight military training aircraft Siai Marchetti 208. They collided with each other.

After that, one fell into a field near Lake San Giovanni, the second collapsed between the houses. Both pilots were killed: Lieutenant Colonel Daniele Cipriano and Major Marco Menegello.
The other two aircraft landed safely at the base.
The scene of the accident was cordoned off by rescuers and special services. The cause of the accident has not yet been reported.
