Lufthansa passengers showed what the interior of the plane looked like when it got into the turbulence zone
Seven passengers on Lufthansa flight 469 had to be hospitalized.
About an hour and a half after takeoff, the airliner, heading from Austin (Texas) to Frankfurt (Germany), fell into a turbulence zone. This happened when the plane was at an altitude of 11 kilometers, flying over the state of Tennessee.
It began to shake and shake from side to side, and what the passengers had to endure, one can only guess.
Although, judging by the state of the cabin, it is unlikely that anyone managed to remain serene at the same time.
Many describe the flight as a frenzy, with plates and cutlery flying through the cabin, and some people jumping up to the ceiling during particularly strong jolts and dips in air pockets.
After landing Lufthansa flight 469 at Washington Dulles Airport (Virginia), seven passengers were hospitalized. Details about their condition have not been released.
For the rest of those who did not fly to Germany, the airline provided a hotel for accommodation, but many were dissatisfied with the service and demand significant compensation for moral damage and flight delays, damaged clothes and injuries.
