The radar showed that the car was traveling at 90 mph in the 75 mph zone.

As the car passed him, Preston pulled into the road to catch up with him.

Preston finally caught up with the car and turned on the lights and siren.

After Preston switched on the headlights, the car sped up and headed south on I-530 at up to 140 mph.

The fugitive drove onto exit 35, after which he lost control, crashing into a fence, as a result of which he was detained and his vehicle was searched.
