To record an interesting video, the girl illegally bought a white shark, cooked and ate it on camera. Meanwhile, this fish is on the list of protected animals prohibited from being caught.

Jin Moumou, known under the pseudonym Tizi, is known in China as a well-known food blogger. The girl gained popularity with her publications on social networks. She shoots videos in which she cooks and eats unusual food, including the meat of animals such as crocodiles, ostriches.

But to maintain the interest of the public, the blogger has to come up with more and more new stories. One of her videos quickly went viral. In a video that Tizi posted on Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), she is cooking and eating white shark broth. The whole process is shown in detail, starting with cutting the fish.

“She may look evil, but her meat is very tender,” the food blogger commented on the sensations of this dish, which, apparently, the girl really liked.

The video quickly spread across the web and attracted the attention of the Chinese authorities.

In this country, the great white shark is on the list of protected animals, which all public people should know about. The food blogger herself claims that she did nothing illegal. She bought a shark on Toabao - the girl paid 7,700 yuan (about $ 1,150) for a two-meter carcass. At the same time, Tizi was sure that the fish was not caught, but raised artificially.

However, the investigation doubted this version of the origin of the shark, and the police tracked down all the participants in the criminal chain. The blogger was fined a very large amount. The police also found and arrested persons involved in the extraction and sale of a rare animal. They may face not only a fine - according to the law, poachers can be punished with imprisonment for up to 10 years.

According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the number of great white sharks is steadily declining. Scientists attribute this phenomenon, among other things, to illegal fishing - poachers catch sharks because of their valuable fins and teeth. These body parts are traditionally used in folk medicine.
