The Ashland, Virginia Police Department is investigating an incident at a railroad crossing. January 15, at about three in the morning, a woman left the car on the tracks.

The motorist walked away slowly, abandoning the car. A few seconds later, the train destroyed the car.

The woman reportedly fled the scene. The police are looking for her.
