Amy is an ordinary girl who planned her future by working masseuse. However, one day everything changed dramatically.





At the age of 19, Amy Purdy began to have flu-like symptoms. girl hospitalized, and already during a trip to the ambulance, the doctors discovered that the girl is in septic shock. Blood circulation in the limbs was violated.



Doctors began to assume that the girl simply would not survive. But Amy didn't give up.



At the hospital, staff were able to diagnose Amy. At the girl kidney failure, she was transplanted a new one from her own father, she was in such a serious condition that she had to be immersed in a coma. Diagnosis not immediately put - meningococcal meningitis. This deadly bacterial infection. Because of her, young Amy had to amputate both legs.



Since then, a new chapter in the girl's life began. Rehabilitation, restoration and attempts to re-learn how to be in this world.



Amy did not plan to lose heart and found herself in sports. She not only re-learned to walk on new prosthetic legs, but also became professional athlete, having won more than once competitions in snowboarding.



Now, together with her husband Daniel Gale Purdy, they help people with with disabilities, helping them to engage in various activities and live life to the fullest.
