In some areas of North America, Christmas holidays were not at all quiet and peaceful. The United States and Canada were hit by a strong winter storm. Dozens of people died. Thousands of flights have been cancelled. Many sit without light. This snowstorm has been compared to a "war zone" because the wind speed in some areas reached 130 km per hour.
