In St. Petersburg, the car flew onto the sidewalk and knocked down two women

On Vasilyevsky Island, a 30-year-old man driving a Hyundai Solaris flew onto the sidewalk, hit one passerby, then demolished a traffic light and knocked down another pedestrian. The car stopped only on the opposite side of the road.

A 35-year-old and a 42-year-old woman were affected. Both were taken to the hospital in an ambulance, one in serious condition, the other in moderate condition.



The culprit is 30 years old and is a citizen of Uzbekistan. He was sober at the time of the accident. The driver claims he had a seizure.
