The couple built a beehive and relocated the bees they found in their house (32 photos)
The heroes of this story once heard a loud buzzing somewhere in house and found that the outside wall was covered with bees, which multiply day by day. Both knew the bee population was declining so instead of destroying them, they decided to do otherwise. Do something that will benefit both their family and the bees themselves.
First, the man found and brought the old pallets.
He dismantled them and thus got a lot of wooden boards for free.
At the same time, he tried to make the most of all the details.
Having laid out all the details, he cut them into equal parts and began to assemble
Strong, stable legs were needed for the future hive
Having finished the legs, he cut the bars for the side walls.
Then assembled the v-bottom
It's time to tackle the removable lid. Moreover, you can remove not only the cover completely, but also each of its individual parts.
He then built a removable roof to protect the structure from rain and wind.
Now that the hive has been built, it's time to open up the outer wall and see how many bees live there.
After removing the siding, the couple saw a huge bee family with thousands and thousands of bees making honeycombs.
There were several layers of honeycombs in the wall
Just look how huge!
Having figured out how best to get them, the couple carefully pulled out the honeycombs, trying not to damage them.
They hung the honeycomb in the new hive with hair clips and rope.
It seemed that the more combs they removed, the more bees appeared.
When the combs moved to the new hive, the bees happily followed them.
Young family members were amazed to see honeycombs up close
It took almost all day, but in the end all the combs were hung inside the new hive
The hive has holes at the bottom for bees and a protective roof from precipitation.
Now the bees have a safe home and spouses can easily get 100% fresh and natural honey at any time
After just a few days, they noticed that new combs had begun to form in the hive.
The bees now have plenty of space, so they're probably happy
Fresh honeycombs appeared very quickly and the honey was very tasty
Instead of killing the bees, the couple created for them home, which proved to be useful both for themselves and for the new neighbors
Now that the bees have more space, their colony can grow
The hair clips worked great, but in the end the bees attached the honeycomb directly to the pieces of wood.
The couple was amazed at how many bees they managed to save. They hope that their bee colony will continue to grow and they will be able to shelter even more bees
