1960 Porsche 356B put up for sale in Belgium outlaw style. The sports car was restored within four years, and now it meets the requirements of elegance competitions. To work on this machine attracted the best workshops specializing in Porsche, but the result was worth the time and effort they spent.
Outlaw style (we talked about this direction of tuning in detail in separate material) there are both supporters and opponents. In wide sense, it can be described as a junction of genres: outlaw machines are no longer fit into the category of classics, but cannot be considered traditional restomods. The movement began with improvements to old Porsches, and one of reference examples of such tuning are now sold in Belgium.
The first owner of a 1960 Porsche 356B coupe was a soldier with American military base in Roswell, New Mexico, present-day Mecca ufologists from all over the world. He later moved the car to Connecticut, and after his death, she stood in the garage for a long time. Five years ago the sports car moved to the UK, where it underwent a thorough restoration. The best specialists in Porsche were attracted to it, among them workshops 911 Rennsport, Workshop Seventy7 and Jaz Porsche.
The two-door received new body panels, but retained the original engine and transmission. Part of the suspension and brake elements had to replaced, which had a positive effect on driving performance. In addition the car completely lost its chrome parts and got a custom interior with Scottish Muirhead leather upholstery, new floor mats and restored original instrumentation scales.
In this form, the car meets the requirements of competitions elegance, that is, it is, in fact, a collector's item. That's why its price is rather big - 199,500 euros.
