An American named John (under the nickname johnwhitmarsh) is engaged in sculpture, the creation of various installations and alterations. He doesn't have so many jobs, but he definitely loves what he does. Newly master made a coffee table from a wine barrel, and shared a photo of it interesting process.
"I decided to make this table out of used wine barrels. Not I remember how I came up with this idea, but probably the inspiration came me when I was recently at a wine tasting. Anyway, I wanted make something that is different from the usual massive wine furniture barrels - something more elegant and modern," says John. He I bought unwanted barrels from a local seller, and the first thing I did was remove all the metal from the barrels and separated the boards.
Then the boards had to be dried and uneven edges trimmed.
Then the master sawed the boards to the desired size.
And started sticking them together with urethane glue
Clamps are used to hold pieces together and shape
The next step is to remove the remaining glue and level the surface.
Then the parts of the future table are processed with a grinder so that they fit perfectly together and stick together evenly.

The master decided to cut the edges of the table, and not keep the bend
