Suzanne shared that she has been fond of coins since childhood - she has always been fascinated by the symbols and coinage of Irish coins, which collected by her mother. Years later she turned her passion into a love business, and created a small production, where it melts coins into rings. The craftswoman said that it turns out that not every coin can become jewelry. “The coin must be in good condition, correct dimensions, and the composition of the metal must be suitable for melting. Turning a coin into a ring is a delicate process that requires slow and meticulous work. Therefore, it is so important to immediately evaluate the metal - otherwise the coin shatter, and the process will be useless."





First, the master punches a hole in the center of the coin. Then uses fire to heat up metal and make it fit for work. After that, fine work begins - the woman slowly stretches the coin, using various tools, giving it a shape rings. At the same time, an important task of the master is to preserve drawings, numbers and signs from a coin so that all important details remain.



It turns out a completely new product that keeps its special history. Suzanne's clients often order rings to commemorate something. For example, one of the last customers asked to smelt a ring from coins in honor of his deceased father. "He's Canadian and wanted to make a ring out of Canadian coin, made in the year of his father's birth - 1962," - said the master.
