A street surveillance camera recorded the moment the crossover hit two children swinging on a swing under the supervision of their father. The Mercedes was driven by a 37-year-old woman who, for some unknown reason, mixed up the gas and brake pedals, despite seven years of driving experience.
When the car famously flew into the playground, the father of the children and a passer-by tried to prevent the collision, but from the impact one of the girls was thrown from the swing onto the roof of the car, and the father was hit hard on the iron rack. The man, according to preliminary information, broke several ribs and was hospitalized. As a result of the departure of the car to the site, one child was not injured, the second received a leg bruise.
The police said that all involved in the accident were in a sober state.
The city administration has already reported that the management company servicing building No. 17 will install a fence at this playground, and all new playgrounds that will be built under the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program will be fenced with special fences. I wonder what prevented the fences from being put up earlier?
