Fatal collision with a pedestrian crossing in the wrong place

In St. Petersburg, a 31-year-old man decided to cross Moskovsky Prospekt in the wrong place, and was hit by a Mercedes CLA car driven by a 22-year-old girl.

The man died at the scene from his injuries.

“As the traffic police officers have established, over the past two years, the motorist has been brought to administrative responsibility 130 times for speeding,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg said in a statement.
