A herd of buffalo tried to recapture their relative from a pride of lions

Tourists traveling in the early spring of last year near the Shindzela hotel complex, located on the border between Hoedspruit and Acornhoek, north of the private Sabi Sand Game Reserve, on the western edge of the Kruger National Park (South Africa), witnessed a large-scale confrontation that occurred between buffalo and lions. .

A herd of buffaloes, consisting of several dozen individuals, disrupted the meal of predators who killed one of the bulls.

The artiodactyl inhabitants of the reserve first drove the lions away from their fellow tribesman, but then, as if realizing that it was already useless, they retreated, after which the representatives of the pride continued their collective meal.
