So, after repeated complaints that there is no information about what punishment the drivers who passed the checkpoint ultimately received, the Almaty traffic police gave a comprehensive message:

Bentley driver Zhanuzakov, born in 1995, was prosecuted under Article 476 of the Code of Administrative Offenses “Violation of the state of emergency.” By a court decision he was subjected to 15 days of administrative arrest;

Bentley passenger Asylbekov, born in 1990, was prosecuted under a similar article and also sentenced to 15 days of arrest;

The Cadillac driver Zhumagulov, born in 1993, was also prosecuted under Article 476, and also under Articles 596 and 590 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - “Driving into oncoming traffic” and “Driving vehicles with false license plates.” By a court decision, he was subjected to administrative arrest for a period of 14 days;

Cadillac passenger Kanaev, born in 1990, was also prosecuted under Article 476 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and arrested for 15 days;

Mercedes driver Artykbaev, born in 1980, was prosecuted under Article 476, and also under Articles 596 and 590 of the Administrative Code. By a court decision, he was subjected to administrative arrest for a period of 10 days.
