Knowing that the pet would be eaten, the owner indifferently abandoned him at the farm. But the dog was saved (6 photos + 1 taffy)

When Sally Markley and her husband brought Kamo home, they saw that the baby was scared and hunted. The dog was afraid of every rustle and, if he heard any suspicious sounds, he rushed headlong home to a safe place. The dog could be understood: the previous owner left Kamo on a Korean farm where four-legged friends are slaughtered for meat! After the horror he experienced, it was difficult for the pet to trust the person...

Kamo, like other dogs, humbly awaited death, languishing in a cramped cage. The unfortunate dog suffered from lack of water and food, and his fur was matted and covered with layers of dirt. The man to whom Kamo ended up had been raising dogs on a farm for many years specifically for sale and consumption.

After 20 years of work, the trader apparently became tired of this disgusting activity, and he turned to the Humane Society International (HSI) with a request to help him close his business. Caring people responded and came to the farm with the intention of taking away all the inhabitants whom fate had thrown into such a terrible place.

Like other pets, our hero was lucky to survive and was saved from death. When the baby was taken out of the cage, he was desperately eager to reach people, although he did not trust them.

After the rescue, the dog was transported to the United States. There, a woman took care of him and groomed the pet, ridding it of its long claws and tangled “fur coat.” When he saw Kamo’s skinny little body, the director of the animal rescue center was horrified.

“I knew he was underweight, but it wasn’t that noticeable until the clumps of fur were taken off him. And then it became clear that he was incredibly exhausted!” — the man said bitterly.

Fortunately, the little one was not left alone for long, and soon a new family took him in. And although his fur still needed to grow, and his fears still needed to disappear, people loved the pet with all their hearts!

Their love and care helped create a miracle: Kamo “bloomed” right before our eyes! Soon he acquired wonderful snow-white fur, gained weight and gradually got used to people. The owners dote on him and say that he is incredibly affectionate and loyal. Now the baby feels much more confident, and his fears will definitely go away, because he has such wonderful owners!
