Just imagine the situation: how a farmer drives through his land, examines the crops in the fields, and then literally disappears underground. Fortunately, no one was hurt in this case, but the farmer was very surprised when he noticed this frightening picture in his field.
These photos were taken near the Turkish city of Konya, where groundwater eroded the soil and caused a sinkhole to appear. From the air this picture looks especially impressive.
