The attentiveness and concern of people helped to do a good deed and bring joy to those who find salvation from this world in books.
One Facebook user posted a photo of a grandmother standing quietly at one of the stands in the Magelan shopping and entertainment center in Kiev. It turned out that she had been coming here for fifteen years, with a specific purpose. Grandmother named Anastasia does not buy anything, but only comes to the book department and reads. The user approached her to talk, but she was shy, said that there was nothing to do at home and life was hard, put down the book and left.
Other social network users did not remain indifferent to this story. Some were delighted by Anastasia’s love of reading, while others felt sorry for her. Still others told the story of their grandmother. It turned out that before her husband’s death she was a well-groomed, smart and intelligent woman who went to the theater with her children. And then no one needed her - the children, despite their upbringing, grew up unlucky, the son served time in prison, the daughter is not distinguished by decency.
Anastasia's only joy was books. All these 15 years she has been reading them while standing, which especially caught the attention of social network users.
They even thought about creating a reading space for her themselves. But the store administration was faster. They set up a cozy sofa for her, which Grandma Anastasia is still eyeing and feeling shy about. The management hopes that she will soon get used to the innovation and will read quietly while sitting.
