New Year's dog rescue. A dog lived for a year with a piece of pipe around its neck

Passers-by in the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk observed this dog with a piece of plumbing pipe for about a year.

Not very successful local animal rights activists tried repeatedly to catch the dog in order to rid it of the terrible “necklace”. But their inexperience only frightened the dog. In the end, the dog began to shy away from people and almost did not make contact with two-legged people. The only thing the tramp agreed to was to accept the food that people left for her in a certain place.

One day, a woman named Irina Uzlova was able to coax the dog a little and took a photo of it. She published the pictures on one of the social networks with a request for help, at least advice on how to save the animal.

There were many offers. But only one thing seemed suitable to animal rights activists from the Kirov region. Vologda resident Grigory Sokolov learned from friends about a dog with a pipe around its neck and offered his services. On New Year's Eve, taking a day off from work, he came to Chepetsk. Grigory Sokolov asked not to leave food for the dog for a day, so that it would be easier to catch it.

Initially, it was planned to extend the rescue efforts over several days. But Grigory managed it in a couple of hours. He managed to catch the dog using spilled food and a special net that was hung over the food. As soon as the dog decided to eat, Sokolov covered it with a net. After injecting sleeping pills, he removed a piece of pipe from the dog and sent the animal to a veterinary clinic. Here the four-legged mongrel realized that not all people are trying to harm her. The dog has improved significantly and become more friendly. Now she willingly goes into her arms and allows herself to be stroked.

The mongrel turned out to be a girl. They called her Chanelka. She is now in a shelter. Employees are already looking for her owners. They hope that there will be caring people in whose home Chanelka will find love and care.

The savior himself works as a teacher. He is interested in hiking and loves dogs. He says he never learned how to handle animals. Everything comes with experience and turns out naturally. He has now become an expert in dealing with difficult animals.

Georgy is surprised that the dog lived with such “decoration” for so long. At any moment the animal could die because of the pipe. It is clear that some flayer put this piece of pipe on the dog. Chanelka herself would never have been able to purchase such a “necklace.” It is unknown who acted so mercilessly with the unfortunate dog. I am glad that together people were able to help the poor animal.
