The cat decided to help the owner, but found himself walled up in the stairs (4 photos)
Life is full of confusions, and sometimes they are just incredibly strange. So the ordinary Norwegian cat experienced the full power of fate’s jokes on its furry skin. But the day started off so well...
What to do when your owners are up to their necks in updating your home? Of course, explore the construction site! Therefore, it is not surprising that Sverre (that is the name of our poor fellow today) went to explore the construction site.
And he had fun... Until he realized that there was darkness all around. And the carpenter’s knocks had long since stopped. No problem, Sverre thought, and went to bed expecting that something had just gone wrong...
At this time, the owner's wife returned home and could not get enough of the new and durable staircase, which was finally completed. And after an excited, cheerful conversation, a seemingly ordinary question was asked: “Where is our cat?”
Searches on the street did not lead to anything, and everyone knew that Sverre likes to stay at home, because he does not tolerate the Norwegian climate very well. Therefore, it was much more likely to find a cat in the nooks and crannies of the house rather than in the garden.
The search continued, but the animal did not respond to the call. And only after another “Sverre, where are you??!!” There was a faintly audible “meow.”
The delighted owners rushed to the source of the sound, but could not understand where it was coming from until they guessed -
the cat was locked in the stairs! Inside her.
Yes, yes, the furry adventurer climbed under the stairs and allowed himself to be stabbed to death by the carpenter. This situation seriously frightened both the owner's wife and their young children, Julia and Mikkel. Fortunately, their neighbor was at home with the necessary tools!
The rescue operation was not very fast. Sverre actively participated in his release, pushing out sawdust with his paw and sticking his nose out at the most inopportune moments. Therefore, there were also risks of hitting the animal with a tool...
But, fortunately, after 45 minutes it was all over, and Sverre was free!
The owner of the house said: “He was in captivity for about five hours. It’s so good that when we started calling Sverre, he responded. Otherwise I don’t know what would have happened.”
Now Sverre is free and everything is fine with him.
