One day, a certain man, going up to his floor, when exiting the elevator, discovered an incomprehensible small lump on the floor making strange sounds. And it seems like it’s not a kitten, not a puppy, not a baby rat, but something completely different!
The tail is small, the head is elongated, the body is long, the legs are short - go and figure out what a marvelous marvel this is! But the man simply could not abandon the unfortunate animal to the mercy of fate, so he took it to his home.
By the way, it was this man who always kept the entrance clean, watered the flowers growing there, and also installed trash cans so that smoking neighbors would not throw cigarette butts on the floor. Including for reasons of order, our hero could not abandon the animal in the entrance of his own house!
Having wrapped the newborn animal in a bundle, he took it to his apartment, acting nobly! The man carefully washed the fragile lump he found, trying to figure out who it was!
He then took the foundling to the kitchen to feed it. Based on his experience of feeding kittens, the man decided to give the animal warm milk from a pipette and, apparently, this was the most correct decision, because immediately after a portion of a hearty lunch, the grateful baby fell asleep sweetly!
Within a few hours, the baby was waiting for the same dinner, and after a week of care and feeding, the little animal noticeably gained fur and grew taller!
The man chose a suitable name for the baby - Lucky (Lucky), because luck really smiled on the animal when he was picked up by such a kind and caring person!
And after a certain period of time, when the animal finally grew, it became clear what kind of unprecedented lump fell into the hands of our hero. It turned out to be a Barguzin sable, which the man left in his house as a new member of the family!
But how the sable cub ended up in the entrance of a residential building is still a mystery! Another mystery is the deformed part of the animal’s hind paw, which is why it cannot run through the snowdrifts for a long time while walking.
