An unusual natural phenomenon, like the freezing waves of Lake Baikal
Lake Baikal is unique from different points of view. It is the oldest on our planet, the deepest of freshwater, and one of the largest in terms of fresh water reserves. In winter it is so cold that the surface of the lake is covered with a thick layer of ice, so strong that cars can easily cross it.
During the transition period (autumn), when the air temperature begins to fall, the lake begins to freeze, but with strong waves - starting from the shore, which causes an interesting effect - the formation of icicles on the shore.
