A large dog of a menacing breed, but with calf-like eyes, a Southern California family adopted Ozy from a shelter several years ago. And all this time the animal suffered unbearably, silently and sadly... because he had no one to take care of.
Ozy has a hypertrophied sense of responsibility and compassion; he needs not just to serve and protect, but to nurse. But not with anyone...
Ozy's problem was that he ended up in an ordinary, average family, with an established rhythm of life. There are three children and no more are planned, but the youngest, at 5 years old, prefers to spend time with a tablet rather than a dog, and he no longer needs comprehensive care. There is an old cat, Norm, but just to sleep in the sun and eat, Ozy and his love only cause irritation. The dog would be happy to meet and play with all the children in the area, but how many parents would agree to entrust their child to a pit bull, even with kind eyes?
As the hostess joked, Ozy suffered so much from the lack of love and friendliness that if robbers broke into their house, the first thing he would do was bring them slippers, a blanket and a cup of chamomile tea. The “good boy” was in dire need of someone to really take care of, and finally his dream came true. In the middle of summer, a stray cat named Vinya appeared on the street in the neighborhood. A month later, Vinya gave birth to five kittens and Ozi became the happiest of dogs.
The owner immediately hurried to dot all the i's: we will shelter the kittens, but only until they grow up, and then we will distribute them. Vinya, so be it, may stay, but I will not allow my house to be turned into a zoo. Do you understand everything, Ozy? And this is enough for him - surrounded by squeaking fools, the pit bull has found harmony with himself and the world. Everyone needs to be looked after, licked, and played. Vinya is only too glad to shed some of her maternal responsibilities, especially since now she is not homeless, but a legitimate guest in Ozy’s house.
Ozy liked one of the kittens, nicknamed Troublemaker (the source of problems), so much that the dog hinted in every possible way - let's leave him? I'll take a look, don't worry! And next year, you see, more kittens will appear and I will have real dog happiness...
