Spectacular lightning strike in Canada
Workers in Canada watched a storm bearing down on their camp and were surprised when lightning struck a tree next to the main building. In the midst of bad weather, one of them began to film lightning in the surrounding area with his phone, but did not think that the strike would occur in such close proximity.
The footage turned out to be impressive: lightning strikes a tree and it begins to fall apart. Under the force of an electrical discharge, most of the tree collapses onto the roof of the house
According to Olivier Dorion (the author of the video), the tree almost broke the roof, but it didn’t work. Satellite communications were damaged and some electrical appliances became unusable.
