Hunters rescued a wolf caught in a trap

3 September 2017

John Owens is an avid fisherman and hunter. Unlike scoundrels who specifically hunt down rare animals, this man strictly adheres to local laws.

In John's homeland, hunting for coyotes is allowed, since the animals have multiplied and began to cause serious harm to the ecosystem. The trap that Owens set was intended just for them. But when checking the trap, it was discovered that unexpected prey had fallen into it.

A huge gray wolf lay in the grass, waiting for people. It is forbidden to hunt them in John’s native land, and a man certainly would not kill such a handsome man.

Therefore, without further hesitation, he decided to release the animal back into the forest. At first I had no idea how Owens would pull it off, but his clever idea with the big board turned out to be very effective!

Fortunately, the modern trap used by the hunter did not cripple the animal’s paw. Now the handsome wolf has returned home again, and the video shot by John has become quite popular on the Internet.

Hunting can be viewed in different ways, but Owens’ act definitely dispels the myth that all lovers of this activity are bloodthirsty monsters!
