The baby elephant, walking somewhere along with the herd, apparently seeking the attention of its mother, threw a real hysteria, rolling along the road like a raging baby. It turns out that elephants are not only loving, but also very intelligent parents! This can be judged, among other things, by these shots taken in one of the African national parks. A little elephant calf, walking somewhere with the herd, threw a real tantrum. He rolled on the ground and spun on the grass, but his parents stubbornly continued to move forward, not paying attention to the unhearing one!
A herd of elephants was crossing the road when the little elephant calf, apparently tired, decided that he would not take another step! First he sat down in the grass, and then his whole body plopped down on the road. He twisted and kicked his legs, hoping that his mother would come to him. But the elephant calmly passed by.
In the end, all the adult elephants passed by, not even deigning to glance at the baby spinning on the ground. And then a miracle happened: the baby elephant rose to his feet and trotted after the herd, clearly not intending to remain alone.
According to animal behavior expert Daphne Sheldrick, such angry outbursts occur quite often in elephants. “Elephants are similar to humans in many ways,” comments Daphne. “Their life expectancy is comparable to that of humans, and their children mature at the same rate, reaching maturity in their twenties. Like humans, they value family ties, have ideas about death, experience practical the same emotions. They have a sense of their own individuality, they experience love, envy, sadness. And they also have public tantrums, typical of small children. They are developed enough to experience dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction, expressing them in the same way as small human children ".
