Muscovite Olesya Voronova decided to congratulate her friend living in Azerbaijan on his birthday and sent him sweets and chocolate by Pony Express postal service. The 9-kilogram parcel was delivered to the post office on December 5, but 4 days later the girl was informed that the parcel was not allowed through customs due to the lack of certificates for the candies. Having paid another 4,000 rubles, Olesya received her parcel back, finding a note inside with the words: “Die scum.”

“At first I wanted to send by Russian Post, but they gave delivery times of up to a month. This didn't suit me. I found this service on the Internet. I called and found out everything. I was not warned about certificates or invoices. When it turned out that additional documents were needed, I was asked to send them by mail, but I was not in Russia at that moment, so I asked to issue a return,” said Olesya.

“Thank God, my birthday boy did not receive such a congratulation “from me.” At first I thought that the note was addressed to me, but then I realized that it was more likely to the addressee. The man has everything, I decided to give him a piece of childhood - candy. There are no such brands in Azerbaijan. I received a call from the security service and was informed that the employee had been found and they were taking action. I asked what measures were taken and how my expenses would be compensated, this is petty hooliganism. They answered me - write letters. I’m afraid to touch this package: maybe the employee not only ripped open the package with a knife, but also peed in it. Although the security service convinces me that he only enclosed a note, I no longer trust them,” the girl continues.

Later the issue was resolved. “Friends, thank you very much for your support and participation. With your help, I was compensated for the damage. I received an official apology from the company, and I have no further complaints on my part. Now I am sure that such a nightmare will not happen to anyone.
