The series “The Tenth Kingdom,” which tells about the adventures of a girl and her father in a parallel magical world, was released back in 1999. For an inexplicable reason, it then had extremely low ratings on NBC, which most likely became the reason for the refusal to film a sequel. But over time, viewers “tasted” this series and really loved it. Let's see what the actors of this wonderful series look like now.

Virginia Lewis - Kimberly Williams

Kimberly began acting since childhood. Already at the age of 13, she starred in various TV commercials. And in her second year at the prestigious Chicago School of Speech, she even had to interrupt her studies for three months to participate in the filming of the film Father of the Bride with Steve Martin. Critics praised Kimberly's acting very highly. For this role she earned a nomination for the MTV Movie Awards.

Next came a move to Los Angeles, several small roles and filming in the sequel Father of the Bride 2. In 2000, having played the main role in the series “The Tenth Kingdom”, Kimberly began to receive many invitations to various television films, in which she was also offered leading roles. From 2001 to 2009, she starred in the comedy series “As Jimm Said,” and in the fall of 2012 she joined the cast of the television series “Nashville.”

Kimberly is now 44 years old and has been married to musician Brad Paisley since March 15, 2003. The couple have two sons.

Anthony (Tony) Lewis - John Larroquette

John began his career with a minor role in the film “Follow Me, Guys!” in 1966. But his real fame came from his role as boorish and sexually obsessed lawyer Dan Fielding in the television series Night Court (1984-1992). Four times in a row for this role he received Emmy statuettes in the category “Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Television Series.”

John received his fifth Emmy for his role as narcissistic psychopath and homosexual Joey Heris in the drama series The Practice in 1998. Many Russian viewers remember John Larroquette from the film Richie Richie, in which he played the main antagonist.

Now John is 68 years old, he appears in TV series and small films. He is very passionate about collecting rare books. Larroquette had problems with alcoholism in the 1970s and 1980s, but has been sober since February 1982. The actor's wife is Elizabeth Ann Cookson, and they have three children.

Wolf - Scott Cohen

Scott was born in 1961 in New York. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a musician, but later he chose acting as a profession. His film debut took place in 1990, when he played a cameo role in the psychological thriller Jacob's Ladder.

Scott hasn't had any significant major roles since The Tenth Kingdom. He mainly appears as a guest actor in TV series or in cameo roles in big films.

Today he is 54 years old, married to screenwriter and former model Anastasia Trey, and they had a son in 1995.

Prince/King Wendell - Daniel Lapaine

Daniel is originally from Sydney, Australia. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1992 and his first most notable role was as David Van Erkle in the film Muriel's Wedding in 1994.

In addition to starring in The Tenth Kingdom, Daniel is best known for his role as Hector in the television film Helen of Troy (2003). He hasn't had any major roles since then.

Now Daniel is 46 years old, he is married to British actress Fay Ripley, and the couple have two children.

The Evil Queen / Christina Sleville-Lewis-White - Dianne Wiest

For her role in Woody Allen's Hannah and Her Sisters (1986), Wiest received an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category. This success was followed by participation in the film “The Lost Boys”, and then a role in the film “Parenthood” (1989), which was awarded an Oscar nomination.

In 1990, filming followed in Tim Burton's film Edward Scissorhands. Wiest then returned to Allen to star in Bullets Over Broadway (1994). For this role, Wiest received her second Academy Award.

Diane is now 68 years old. She has never been officially married and has two adopted children (born in 1987 and 1991). She lived all her life in Manhattan. At the beginning of 2015, due to lack of work and the ability to pay for a rented apartment with a rent of just over five thousand, Wiest had to leave her apartment on 79th Street.

Perhaps the only one from the entire cast of “The Tenth Kingdom” who, in general, does not need any introduction. However, he did not come to acting right away. At the age of 15, he ran away from home, joined his grandfather's merchant ship and went sailing for almost a year. This gave him the opportunity to see the world, visit Pakistan, Canada, Singapore, Saigon, the Persian Gulf, and get acquainted with the customs and way of life of different peoples.

But color blindness, inherited from his great-grandfather, prevented Hauer from continuing his career as a sailor. He returned home, began working as a decorator, washer, and carpenter, then joined the army. And only then, after feigning mental instability and spending some time in a mental hospital, he returns to study and becomes an actor.

Today Rutger Hauer is 72 years old and continues to act in films with all his might.

The Joker (Troll King) - Ed O'Neill
