The Dubai Tower is the tallest skyscraper in the world, resembling a stalagmite in shape, the construction of which is planned to be completed in 2009 in the largest city of the United Arab Emirates - Dubai. By the time construction is completed, it will be the tallest structure in the world. The exact final height of the structure is not yet known, but the estimated height is 818 m (with more than 160 floors). The building will have its own lawns, boulevards and parks. The total cost of the construction is about 4 billion dollars. According to the project, a hotel will be located on the lower 37 floors, and 700 luxury apartments will occupy floors 45 to 108. The majority of the space will be allocated for office space. Construction of the skyscraper began in 2004 and is progressing at a rate of 2-3 floors per week. After the completion of the 160th floor, concrete work will stop and construction will be carried out using metal structures.
