A few days ago, the largest company Royal Asscher Diamond Company presented a new collection of its most famous and expensive diamond jewelry, Stars of Africa. They are distinguished not only by their fabulous cost, but also by their unique “floating” design. Harrods was chosen as the venue for the presentation, also the most expensive and fashionable department store in the world, located in West London.

The design of jewelry from the Royal Asscher Diamond Company collection instantly attracts attention, distinguishing the “royal” jewelry from dozens of others on display. Small diamonds and other stones are placed in a special solution in which they “float”, moving up and down with any movement of their owner. This gives each specimen a resemblance to a trinket known to everyone since childhood - a crystal ball, inside of which it begins to “snow” as soon as you shake it. But instead of sparkles and polystyrene foam there are “brilliants”, sapphires and rubies.

The first Stars of Africa collection was released in 2009 as a dedication to the Dutch Royal Family and consisted mainly of luxurious rings. All of them were designed in the same color scheme: white and yellow diamonds framed in white gold. In addition to rings, the updated 2011 line also included earrings, bracelets, pendants and even men's cufflinks. All this variety can be easily found at Harrods.

The new collection of royal diamonds is limited: for example, the most expensive items - rings - were made in only 55 copies.

By the way, part of the money from the sales of fantastically beautiful and expensive jewelry will be donated to a fund to help the population of Africa.
