In China, you can literally find yourself in a "green" post-apocalyptic world reminiscent of The Last of Us. In the 2000s, amid rapid economic growth, large-scale residential projects and entire new districts with ambitious development plans were launched across the country. But for various reasons, many of them were never fully completed and ended up abandoned. Now, nature is taking over these places: concrete structures are swallowed by vegetation, and the streets and buildings remain deserted. One example is Guang'ao in Guangdong Province.
