In the mountains of Romania, a female bear walked onto the Transfagarasan Highway and attacked a passing car, tearing off its rear bumper with its teeth.

The drivers of several cars were deliberately driving slowly, practically blocking traffic, to get a better look at the wild animals that had wandered onto the highway.

"The situation became dangerous after the female bear approached one of the cars and broke the rear bumper with its teeth," the publication states.

There were no injuries. Authorities urged tourists to keep their distance and not approach wild animals, which often wander onto the road in this region.
