A 97-year-old Japanese grandfather adores frogs. He enjoys drawing these animals and making origami and other crafts with them. His granddaughter shared a glimpse of his typical morning.
The 97-year-old man, who adores frogs, is a source of adoration online. His granddaughter, Mika, posts videos of him on social media. Every time she visits Osaka, she films his daily life, in which frogs play a special role. Grandfather Mika spends her days drawing these creatures and making origami and other crafts with them.
In Japanese mythology, the frog (kaeru) symbolizes good luck and longevity, as well as a safe return home (the words "frog" and "return" sound similar in Japanese). The man reveres kaeru because of his children and grandchildren, who live around the world.
