VL Flock is a corduroy fabric made using a special technology that reflects less than 0.5% of light. By tracing his everyday clothes onto the back of this "magic" fabric and stitching everything together, the blogger was able to create an entire costume. The garment turned out so dark that it absorbed ultraviolet light and didn't reflect a laser pointer beam.
