A triggerfish, also known as a bluefin balistoda, attacked a diver in the Maldives. The man captured the persistent attack.
The merciless attack took place in the Maldives. The aggressor did not retreat, despite resistance.
The diver was attacked again by a local "resident" – a triggerfish, known for its thuggish behavior. According to the victim, the incident occurred while filming the reef: "The first time, I didn't bring a camera, but the second time, he attacked again!"
The triggerfish is a true marine thug, ruthlessly patrolling its territory, armed to the teeth (literally), and completely fearless. Swimming away from it is impossible – it won't leave you alone until it receives a vicious slap from its fins.
