A group of travelers were observing lions from a special vehicle. One of the predators suddenly climbed onto the roof of the vehicle and, perched directly above the group, accurately left its "mark" on them.
Safari staff explained that this is a common way for animals to mark their territory, and it's normal behavior for them—though for the tourists, the incident was quite a shocking experience.
