In France, the UK, Poland, and other countries, there are unique centers where captains and helmsmen practice maneuvers on large-scale models of real vessels. 
Mini-tankers, 7–9 meters long, behave like full-size ones—with inertia, speed, and wind effects. This kind of experience is impossible to obtain using computer simulators alone.
