Leto suddenly entered the theater to thank the fans, but there were almost none—the theater was half empty, and the moment of triumph turned into an awkward silence.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is already scaling back the franchise: with a budget of $180 million, Tron: Ares grossed only about $70 million worldwide.
