A $1,200 Aston Martin unveiled - it's a baby stroller (7 photos)

British luxury grand tourer manufacturer Aston Martin, in collaboration with egg, has developed an unusual addition to its accessory line. This line of strollers features a number of references to Aston Martin cars in their design and materials. The starting price for these new products is approximately $1,200.





The stroller wheel design references the wheels used on the exclusive Aston Martin Valour and Victor, and their hubs are intended to resemble the rotary switches on the cars' center consoles. The stitching that connects the seat covers is copied from the interior trim of the DBX707 crossover. Furthermore, its pattern is repeated in the relief of some rigid parts.

One of the stroller designs is a combination of the characteristic green and lime colors used on production Aston Martins. The other two, in varying shades of gray, are intended to evoke both vintage car interiors and the extensive use of carbon fiber. The same leather used in the interiors of luxury British cars is used for the trim.

Aston Martin and egg plan to release an entire themed line, which, in addition to strollers, will include bassinets and childcare accessories. Deliveries will begin towards the end of the year.
