Sweden's new Health Minister Elisabeth Lann, who was appointed to the post the day before, fainted right during her first press conference dedicated to the reshuffle in the government.

After her speech, she exchanged a few words with Kristersson and began to lean over the podium. Ebba Busch managed to notice something was wrong, but she was unable to stop her colleague from falling. As a result, the Health Minister fell along with the podium and hit her head on the lectern. She came to her senses quite quickly. She was taken out of the hall, where she was given first aid.
A few minutes later, she returned and told the journalists present that the cause of her loss of consciousness was a sharp drop in blood sugar. Despite the fact that the official reported that she was feeling well, her presentation at the government press conference with her participation was postponed.
Elisabeth Lunn is a municipal councilor in Gothenburg and a member of the Christian Democracy party. She was appointed Minister of Health on Tuesday, September 9. The appointment was reportedly unexpected. It happened after her predecessor, Ako Ankarberg Johansson, resigned the day before.
