A Brazilian woman fell in love with an undertaker and went to funerals for two years so that he would notice her (5 photos) photo)
A 33-year-old resident of the Brazilian town of Pinhalzinho (where all 2,800 people know each other at least by sight) became a local legend — and a social media star — after she arrived in a hearse to her own wedding. But as it turned out, the unusual wedding transport was not just a shock, but a symbol of a long and atypical love story.
Daniela Signor fell in love at first sight with funeral director Apollo Scariot. In April 2023
When she attended a farewell to a distant acquaintance. The man impressed her so much that she began to regularly attend other people's funerals organized by his company, about once every three months - just to see him again.
I don't like funerals. At all. But I thought: "Well, I'll hug the relatives of the deceased - at least I'll see him."
Sometimes Apollo didn't even show up, but Daniela didn't give up.
It took two years of these encounters before the man finally paid attention to her
When they finally spoke, she admitted that she had been “hunting” for him through funeral services all this time. Apollo was shocked:
I just didn’t notice her — I was always focused on work.
The couple started dating last summer, and got married this May. And then Daniela had a surprise
On the day of the ceremony, she arrived at the venue in a hearse
The same one that her lover usually uses to transport coffins. On the rear window hung a banner that read:
Till death do us part.
The guests were, to put it mildly, shocked - but during the ceremony, the bride and groom read their unusual love story out loud, and then everything fell into place.
This is part of our story, it all started with it. We did not expect such a stir around it, we just wanted to pay tribute to how it all began.
Now Daniela is called "the most persistent bride in Brazil." And someone adds:
True love is when you are ready to go to a funeral for two years in a row for the chance to see your loved one again.
