People helped a sloth cross the road

In the Brazilian town of Ilheus, people briefly stopped traffic on the road to help a sloth get to the side of the road.
Sloths are unable to cross the road safely on their own. The slow-moving herbivores often die under the wheels of cars because they do not have time to escape.
