A resident of the Chinese city of Chongqing, Ms. Li, was suspected of cheating by her boyfriend because her phone automatically connected to the Wi-Fi of the hotel where the couple came to rest.
When they checked in, they were asked for documents. The woman was looking for a digital ID on her phone. It was at this moment that the couple noticed that her smartphone automatically connected to the hotel Wi-Fi.
This fact alerted the boyfriend - he suspected Li of cheating, assuming that she had previously been in this hotel with someone else. Despite her objections and surprise, this fact was enough for him to break off the relationship.
