Turtle escapes from nest of birds of prey
A turtle escaped from a nest of bald eagles. The moment of escape was captured on video.
Representatives of the organization "Friends of the Redding Eagles" (Redding, California, USA) watch the family of feathered predators with interest. Recently, something unusual was noticed in the nest, and upon closer inspection, people realized that it was a turtle, and a living one at that. The turtles live in a nearby pond, but the eagles had never brought such strange prey before. However, the feathered predators quickly became disillusioned with the turtle. Having pecked it several times, they were convinced that the animal was not very tasty and not particularly nutritious.
Perhaps this is why the birds did not pay special attention to the fact that the turtle was planning a daring escape from their nest, which was crowned with success. The fugitive safely reached the edge and fell out, and the blackberry bushes softened her fall.
