66-year-old woman changed beyond recognition after undergoing 9 plastic surgeries in 6 hours (1 photo + 2 videos)
Lisa Vermeer from Iowa took a radical step towards rejuvenation by undergoing a large-scale complex of plastic surgeries. In June 2024, the woman turned to renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Mike Nayak in St. Louis, where she underwent nine different facial rejuvenation procedures in one six-hour operation. 
The decision to undergo such a serious transformation came to Lisa after one evening she stopped recognizing her own reflection in the mirror.
“I always looked younger than my age, so I put off surgery for a long time. But after 60, I realized that the time had come,” says Vermeer.
Choosing a doctor took a long time, and one of the daughters agreed to help with the search, and she recommended Dr. Nayak.
The complex of procedures included a deep face and neck lift, eyelid blepharoplasty, brow and lip lift, earlobe reduction, laser resurfacing and fat grafting. The surgeon explains that the main goal was not just to tighten the skin, but to reveal the patient's natural facial features.
"Lisa has beautiful cheekbones and a jawline - we just needed to highlight them correctly," the specialist notes.
Despite the scale of the intervention, the recovery was surprisingly easy.
"There was swelling, bruising, emotional fluctuations, but there was absolutely no pain," Vermeer recalls.
Now the woman takes special care of her skin, using professional products and avoiding sun rays. This has become a real challenge for the sea fishing enthusiast, who now has to go out to sea in a special protective suit.
