Fake captain hijacks fishing vessel (2 photos)

When police officers in Washington, D.C., received a tip about a stolen vehicle, they thought in vain that they would have to search for the car.

A certain criminal managed to hijack an entire fishing vessel. The man boarded the vessel "Jamie Marie" and, waking up the crew, introduced himself as their captain. There were many newcomers on the crew who did not suspect anything at all, and the "old-timers" decided that there had been some personnel changes and they now had a new captain. So, the "Jamie Marie" set out to sea, but it was there that the crew began to be tormented by suspicions. The captain's remarks indicated that he understood nothing about either seafaring or fishing. Having contacted the port administration, the people were convinced that they had sailed away under the command of an impostor.

The ship had to be turned around, and the police were already waiting for the unfortunate captain in the port. It remains to be hoped that he enjoyed the sea cruise (even if it was short).
