Rare Rolls-Royce seized in 1976 in Ukraine (3 photos)
A 1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II vintage sedan was seized in Ukraine. The luxury car was illegally imported from abroad. Focus reports this.
During the pre-trial investigation, BEB detectives uncovered a scheme for illegal import of cars into Ukraine. For this purpose, they produced fake certificates of conformity for cars and expert opinions. 
The Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II sedan was seized and the car was arrested by the decision of the Solomyanskyi District Court of Kyiv. The BEB Territorial Administration in Kyiv Region is conducting a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 201-4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (smuggling of excisable goods). Importantly, the Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II is a rather rare model, as only 2,135 such sedans were produced from 1975 to 1980. However, it is relatively inexpensive - it costs from 25 to 50 thousand dollars. 
The Silver Wraith II is a stretched version of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow sedan with a more luxurious leather interior and separate air conditioning for rear passengers. The car is equipped with a 6.75-liter 190-horsepower V8 and a 3-speed automatic transmission.
