Alarm at Sydney Airport: Athlete Does Push-Ups in Plane Engine (5 Photos + 1 Video)
Presley Ginoski, 23, climbed into the engine duct of a plane for a spectacular video. He did a few push-ups and flexed his biceps in front of the camera. The incident took place at Sydney Airport, Australia.
Ginoski filmed the video last year, but only shared it over the weekend, causing a furious reaction from airport management.
"We strictly enforce airport safety regulations and take any reports of possible violations very seriously," an airport spokeswoman said.
However, Ginoski himself believes that the video was taken too seriously. He explained that he was far from passengers and operating aircraft.
"I just wanted people to laugh. It was like I just got off the plane and was about to do some exercise."
He added that he was confident in the safety of the stunt: "The plane was parked and remained there until the next day. Many people missed the fact that the turbine was spinning because of the wind."
Presley got a job at the airport last summer and only posted the video after he quit.
According to him, the video was removed from TikTok for violating community guidelines, although it had more than 2 million views.
Jet engines have a powerful suction force that is created by the rotation of the blades. The vacuum-like effect is so strong that it can pull in a person several meters away.

Many viewers did not see anything funny in the strongman's actions and called it "stupid": "Keep this vain man locked up! Or better yet, take away all his mirrors and cameras. That would be the best punishment"; "Look how social media influences people."
The former DJ and foreman was not too upset: "I conduct personal training and love to shoot funny videos, I want to inspire people to do more sports."

An airport spokesperson said: "The safety of passengers and employees is our top priority. We are strictly following established protocols to ensure all safety regulations are met. We will take appropriate action based on the results of the investigation."
