Tennis player Anna Kournikova appeared in public in a wheelchair (10 photos)
Former tennis star Anna Kournikova is recovering from a leg injury. The 43-year-old was spotted in a wheelchair with an orthopedic boot on her right foot outside the Bal Harbour Mall in Miami, Florida on Saturday. 
Kournikova was accompanied by her two daughters, 7-year-old Lucy and 4-year-old Mary, as well as several friends.
The Grand Slam champion retired from the sport at 21 due to injuries. She has 16 doubles titles under her belt. In 1997, she reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon.

Since 2001, Anna has been in a relationship with Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias, whom she met on the set of his Escape video. The couple prefers to keep their personal life private, and were last seen together celebrating Mother's Day and Iglesias's birthday on May 8, 2022. Last July, the singer was spotted on a yacht with his daughter Mary and Anna's father Sergei Kournikov in Miami.
In October of that year, Iglesias revealed details of their relationship in an interview with People: "When we first met, even though she came from a sports background, we hit it off right away. She knew my world, and I knew her world. That understanding made a huge difference. We just started talking, and every day our connection got stronger and stronger."
